Luxury Styled Bridal Shoot at the Mill Studio

Nothing delights me more than seeing brilliant sunlight stream in through the windows of my photography studio…. that is, until I get to photograph a stunning bride in it. This luxury styled bridal shoot at the Mill Studio was hosted by Enchanted Shoots, a local company that puts together styled shoots for photographers!

A highlight, I felt, of this shoot was the selection of details. So often, brides aren’t sure what they want photographed for their detail photos. If they do, they usually don’t include much “fluff” to add beauty to these photos. The go-to, obvious choices are the rings, vow books, and jewelery, but there are a few things you can add in to spice it up and I’m here to help you out!

On your wedding day, it can be so helpful to both you AND your photographer if you have a box, ready to go, with all of the details you want photographed inside. The fun thing is this can be as simple or as extravagant as you want! A shoebox works fine for this!

Details you can include on your wedding day:

  • Invitation suite, even the envelopes (2 copies if they’re double-sided)
  • Stamps
  • Jewelery (rings, earrings, necklace, etc)
  • Shoes
  • Perfume
  • Lipstick
  • Cuff Links
  • Pieces of your reception decor
  • Momentos from your relationship! First Date at the movies? Movie tickets! Were you long-distance for a time? Include a few letters you exchanged! Getting married at the beach? Add in some sea shells you’ve hunted together.
