NYC Engagement Session in Central Park

There’s something undeniably romantic about a spring morning in New York City… especially when you’re capturing two people as joyful and stylish as Noelle and Denis. Their NYC Engagement Session in Central Park has me feeling so inspired, even weeks later.

Just before whisking them away for a fun documentary style engagement session, we met up at The Plaza Hotel, the ICONIC spot where Denis proposed. While we didn’t make it the main focus, we let hints of the Plazas elegant rooftop peek into a few frames, just enough to quietly nod to the start of their next chapter.

From there, we wandered into The Mall in Central Park , photographing in the soft morning light, amidst the hustle of people out for their morning jogs and dog-walkers galore. Noelle and Denis were playful, totally trusting of me, and brought such effortless “cool” to the shoot (plus, their sweet pup Nugget came along for a few perfect cameos!).

As a New York City photographer, these kinds of sessions are what I live for—where there’s meaning in the location, natural connection between the couple, and room to let things unfold organically. This is precisely the reason I don’t shove intentional sessions in 1-hour time slots. It simply isn’t enough.

After the park, we took our time walking around the Upper East Side for a few more elevated, editorial-inspired shots to round out their gallery. It was the kind of NYC engagement session that feels both timeless and uniquely personal.

These NYC engagement photos are a reflection of their joy, style, undeniable connection. Many more NYC Engagement Sessions in Central Park are to come!
