2024 was a beautiful year of weddings photographed and souls documented. I truly love every couple that I connected with and hold memories from each of their wedding days close. It was a busy year with 22 weddings and elopements documented across the Carolinas! This is my sweet spot – where I feel I can really give each couple the love and attention they (and their gallery!) deserve. I also want to note the sadness many couples faced in the wake of hurricane Helene. Although there were a few cancellations/reschedules, I have no doubt I will get to celebrate these couples in 2025 a little bit extra!

one

Starting off strong with Grace and Shawns March wedding in downtown Asheville! You can read all about it here! It was so great to begin this wedding season so close to home, and celebrate two humans I came to adore during their engagement session!

two

Courtney and Brian had an intimate wedding at a home in upstate SC! Their wedding held many sweet sentiments and joined family that hadn’t gathered in years, which is always so so special.

three

Rachel and Davids wedding Day had a twist that I ADORED as a photographer, and that was opting OUT of formal portraits during the wedding day. Instead, we did them the week prior! This allowed more of their sole focus to stay in being present through the day and allowed ME to photograph most of the day from a purely documentary perspective.

four

Jack and Makayla are some humans that you can just look at and say “Yeah, they’re made for each other.” Their wedding at Triple J Manor House in Mocksville, NC was full of worship, laughter, and a coffee bar!

five

Ashlee and Mike eloped at the courthouse in downtown Asheville in true elopement fashion! Only a few people present and a small lunch to follow!

six

When I had my initial “Connection Call” with Kayleigh, I knew her and Daniels wedding day was going to be really special. This day held so many beautiful moments that really made me feel honored to get to document life as a “job”. Held in/at her grandmothers home, every detail was personal and uncurated and perfect.

seven

Two peas in a pod! That’s these two. A wine maker and coffee roaster, they belong together. Mary and Tanners wedding in Boone, NC was vibrant, lively, and full of wonderful candid moments.

eight

Ailis and Reyes – these two 🥹 I truly just love their spirits so much. They had a beautiful wedding near Charlotte, NC with a heavy emphasis on guests enjoying their time (i.e. LAWN GAMESSS) They honed in on the details, and Reyes built a stunning bookcase as their seating chart!

nine

If there was any bride to have to experience rain on their wedding day, Olivia being it was the BEST one could hope for. She and Ian were so relaxed about the oncoming showers RIGHT UP to their ceremony time. Ultimately, the rain cleared until moments before they walked in for their reception!

ten

Speaking of rain, Katelyn and David were next up for bad weather, apparently. However, by some miracle, the most beautiful shower came over them during the ceremony and it was magical. We did portraits (rain free) and then had an absolute washout during the reception. It was all worth it because the day was so meaningful and even more stunning because of the storm!

eleven

Laurel Falls held Hannah and Calebs wedding, filled to the brim with mountain string-band music, sweeping views, and a gooood time reception! This was one of those days where I thought to myself afterwards “What a cool gig”.

twelve

The kick-off to this double wedding weekend was a stunning praise-filled wedding at Overlook Barn in Banner Elk! I love photographing weddings at Overlook and cherish any time I get to spend there! Kaela and Mason were so excited to be married and the energy of that just radiated from them during their portraits!

thirteen

The next day, I celebrated with Morgan and Simeon at Twin Willows in Mars Hill! It was the perfect “early fall” day – warm sunshine, a crisp evening, a bonfire and live music. Their sweet ceremony in front of the white chapel was sooo picturesque.

fourteen

When I tell you I felt like I KNEW Cheyenne before her wedding day even rolled around, I mean it. Although I only met her and Seth a few months before their wedding at Chickadee Hill Farms, being with them on their wedding day felt like being a part of the family. The day was emotional for a few reasons, each of them bringing more meaning to the job I’m honored to do.

fifteen

It was SO fun to be back at one of my favorite venues, Orion Chapel in Jefferson, NC. Being such a unique space, it can be both challenging and inspiring to shoot in! I truly love it. Hayley and Warren are a super fun couple and their joy and emotion showed through in the photographs.

sixteen

My second double wedding weekend of the year was a compilation of two very perfect fall days, starting off with Sarah and Stephen! These two booked a cute little airbnb in Highlands, NC to host their close family and friends for the wedding! It felt incredibly personal down to the tiniest of details.

seventeen

Erzhi and Zanders wedding was unlike any I have photographed before! It was a blend of cultural traditions that I haven’t experienced prior, and I loved being a part of it! Theres a whole blog post on this day if you’d like to see more of its perfection!

eighteen

You know when the wedding invitation is a movie ticket inside an origami box and the dress code is “avant garde” that the expectations are high. Alex and Tylers incredibly intentional and artistic wedding was the most unique I have ever photographed. A full blog post definitely coming on this one!

nineteen

Caroline and John… MAN the emotions on this one. They have a love like no other and it showed all day long. I treasure my job on days like this – full of life, love, and so much beauty!

twenty

Tristian and Bailey celebrated with day long affair of location hopping, getting married at the courthouse, and saying private vows up on the mountain! There were constantly “down for anything” and so enjoyable to spend time with!

twenty-one

Every time I play the role of Wedding photographer at Hotel Domestique, I cant help but fall in love over and over! Megan and Justin curated the most stunning wedding day with a true “the devils in the details” mentality. Everywhere you looked was perfect and that carried right on over to the emotional side of things too!

twenty-two

As my last wedding of 2024, I celebrated Lauren and Matt at their sweet elopement in downtown Rock Hill, SC! Two people so excited to spend their lives together, choosing to celebrate that with only the people that mean the very most to them. What more could you want?!
