Being a North Carolina based documentary wedding photographer comes with so many perks, but getting to work in the mountains, especially somewhere like Overlook Barn, is my favorite part. Tucked away in Banner Elk with panoramic Blue Ridge Mountain views, this venue is straight off of pinterest. A Fall wedding at Overlook Barn in Banner Elk is every girl’s dream… right?

Kaela and Mason’s wedding was the perfect example of mountain magic. The sunny afternoon had family popping into the bridal suite, the both of them being covered in prayer, and family helping decorate. Their ceremony was filled with worship and prayer, overlooking the mountains. It was special not just for them, but for everyone who came to celebrate with them.

As the day went on, the emotion didn’t let up. The speeches brought tears to so many eyes (mine included), as friends and family shared stories that reflected just how loved Kaela and Mason are. Their reception was full of laughter, dancing. A wedding night you never want to end!
