Fairytale Wedding at Waterstone Venue in Tennessee.. There are some weddings that stay with you, not because of the details (even though this one had plenty of magic), but because of the people. Aly and Elec are that kind of couple. From the moment we talked on the phone, I knew their day at Waterstone Venue in Tennessee would be something special. What I didn’t expect was just how emotional, intimate, and joy-filled it would be from start to finish.

This fairytale wedding at Waterstone Venue in Tennessee is unlike anything else. Tucked into the woods, the venue feels like stepping into a fairytale.. hobbit-style lodging carved into the landscape, cozy stone pathways, and the most enchanting treehouse suite where I was lucky enough to stay at the end of the night. Every corner feels whimsical and warm.

Aly is a talented hairstylist and one of the most effortlessly stylish brides I’ve photographed. Elec is a musician, gentle and wildly talented, and their love for each other shows up in the tiniest micro-moments. Their families and friends carried that same tenderness throughout the entire day.

The SWEETEST moment of all though…

I’ve photographed a lot of ceremonies, but this was one of the most emotional I’ve witnessed. There wasn’t a dry eye. Not even close. It was one of those rare moments where you feel honored to simply be in the room… or in this case, outside by the water.

After their ceremony, the night flowed into the kind of celebration that was very “them”. A live jazz band playing under string lights, the smell of fresh pizza drifting through the open-air reception space, and their closest people dancing long after the sun slipped behind the trees.

Waterstone Venue was the perfect backdrop for their whimsical, soulful wedding. Equal parts cozy, magical, and fun. I left that night so grateful to have been the one to document it. Couples like Aly and Elec remind me why I do what I do!!
