M and E’s stunning wedding in the mountains of Weaverville, NC. There were so many emotional, heartfelt moments of their day, including their first look and private first vows. Not long ago, it was uncommon for a bride and groom to see each other before their ceremony. That “walking down the aisle” moment was what so many people dreamed of.. butttt.. the wedding world is changing and evolving. Now, it’s probably more common than not (at least in my experience) for couples to do a first look – and even private vows while they’re at it!

This time feels sacred to many couples. It’s intimate and personal and gives you the space to be vulnerable and honest without 100 guests listening in. M and E had their parents, siblings, and grandparents present for their private vows and, as you can see, it brought many tears.
